Duties
大規模計算基盤の研究開発において、CPUやGPU、独自開発のMN-Coreを組み合わせた最適化された計算基盤の企画・設計を行います。具体的には、クラスタ型計算機の設計、高性能かつエネルギー効率の良いシステム構築、大規模ネットワークおよびストレージ技術の研究開発に取り組みます。システムの性能改善のため、物理的なメトリクス収集と分析を行い、継続的な技術革新を目指します。さらに、スーパーコンピューターの省電力性能向上や、大規模計算基盤の監視・管理技術の開発など、先端的な技術課題に挑戦します。
