Duties
NVIDIA's Quantum Algorithm Engineer will be closely involved with Japan's quantum computing industry and seek specialists with expertise in quantum computing who can hold their own in the creation of essential functions, support relationships with researchers with strong influence, discover solutions to high-impact problems that NVIDIA can solve independently, promote the early adoption of new market paradigms, and collect feedback on new products, as well as present scientific, technical, and industry presentations. In addition, we are seeking candidates with extensive experience in physics, quantum data science, broad background in chemical, mechanical, or related engineering fields (Ph.D. or Masters preferred), extensive background in quantum information science, and expertise in quantum computing, high-performance computing, and related areas for over 5 years, and a global consciousness of the conference circuit.
Requirements
Degree in Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, or related engineering field (Ph.D. or Masters preferred), Extensive background in Quantum Information Science with expertise in one of the following: algorithms for Chemistry, Quantum Machine Learning, Error Correction or similar domain, 5+ years experience in Quantum Computing, High Performance Computing and related areas, World-class communication skills with a demonstrated ability to articulate a value proposition to technical and non-technical audiences
