イメージセンサー、ディスプレイデバイス、半導体レーザーなどのソニー製品の研究開発において、高度なシミュレーション技術とインフォマティクス技術を駆使して技術課題を解決する業務を遂行します。具体的には、計算化学手法や機械学習を活用し、材料・デバイスの特性予測、不具合メカニズムの解明、開発プロセスの最適化に取り組みます。数人～10人程度のチームにおいて、シミュレーション技術の開発・改良を行い、材料物性、半導体物理などの先端技術を探求しながら、製品の差異化と性能向上に貢献します。また、得られた知見を学会発表や論文執筆を通じて社外に発信し、技術的なプレゼンスを高めることも期待されています。
