Job Summary
Mapboxのロードチームにおけるソフトウェア開発エンジニアとして、グローバルな道路ネットワークの構築と最適化に取り組みます。既存のデータ処理パイプラインの改善、新しいパイプラインの設計と実装、パフォーマンス指標の収集と監視、セキュリティベストプラクティスの議論と実装など、道路特徴、ナビゲーション、高精細地図の開発に重要な役割を果たします。Company Info
Duties
MapboxのRoads Teamにおいて、グローバルな道路ネットワークの構築と高度地図データの開発を担当します。主な業務は、既存のデータ処理パイプラインの改善、スケーリング、新しいデータ処理パイプラインの設計と実装です。AWS services（S3、EC2、IAM、EMR、Glue、Athena、Kinesis）を活用し、分散コンピューティング環境でのデータ処理を行います。SQL、プログラミング言語（C++、Python、Scala、Java）を使用し、ワークフロー管理ツール（Airflow、Oozie、Luigi）を用いて効率的なデータ処理を実現します。また、データ収集、パフォーマンス指標の監視、セキュリティベストプラクティスの実装も重要な役割となります。
