(JASM) is a joint venture primarily owned by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), with minority ownership by Sony Semiconductor Solutions, Denso, and Toyota. The company was established to build and operate semiconductor factories in Kikuyo, Kumamoto, Japan. JASM provides foundry services for advanced specialty semiconductors, utilizing various process technologies (e.g., 40nm, 22/28nm, 12/16nm, and 6/7nm) for applications in the automotive, consumer, high-performance computing, and other industries.
