QPS Institute (Institute for Q-shu Pioneers of Space, Inc.) is a space venture company established in 2005 by Kyushu University honorary professors and others, with the aim of fostering a space industry in Kyushu, Japan. The company develops and operates high-definition, small SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) satellites called "QPS-SAR," which can provide high-resolution and high-quality observation data of targets regardless of weather conditions or time of day. QPS Institute is building a constellation of 36 satellites to provide a near real-time Earth observation data service, aiming for an average 10-minute observation interval for specific regions worldwide. They also offer solutions by utilizing this satellite data for advanced and efficient infrastructure management and the creation of new services.
