Job Summary
■役割概要 Applied Research Engineerは、最先端のAI技術を、顧客事業の中で「0→1」で社会実装まで落とし込む研究開発エンジニアです。 純粋な研究職でも、受託開発エンジニアでもなく、実社会の課題・顧客文脈・技術進展の三者を接続し、「使われるAI」「意思決定に耐えるAI」を生み出すことがミッションです。 新領域・AIドメインでは、特に ・海洋・物流・安全保障・インフラ ・公共性・国際性の高いテーマ を対象に、技術の中核を担う存在として活動していただきます。 ■役割と期待値 ・曖昧で前例のない課題に対し、AI技術を用いた解決アプローチを設計する ・顧客・事業側と直接対話しながら、要件定義〜技術選定〜実装方針までを主導する ・プロジェクトにおいてコアとなるAI要素技術の研究・開発を担う ・「研究で終わらせない」ことを前提に、実運用・社会実装まで見据える ■業務内容 1. 応用研究・AI技術開発 ・最先端AI技術（機械学習、深層学習、時系列解析、グラフ解析等）を用いた要素技術研究 ・実データ（位置情報、船舶データ、センサーデータ等）を前提としたアルゴリズム設計 ・PoCから実運用を見据えたモデル設計・検証 2. 顧客課題起点の技術設計 ・顧客事業・業務構造を理解した上での技術要件定義 ・技術進展が早い環境下での、柔軟かつ現実的な技術アプローチ提案 ・顧客とのディスカッションを通じた仮説検証・方向修正 3. プロジェクト推進・連携 ・Program Manager・Account Managerと連携したプロジェクト推進 ・外部パートナー／データプロバイダーとの技術的連携検討 ・研究成果の社内外共有・技術ナレッジ化 ■関わるプロジェクト例 ・海洋・物流領域における行動推定・異常検知AIの研究開発 ・国際的なデータ（船舶・物流・位置情報）を用いたインテリジェンスソリューション ・METI SBIR 等を想定した、新規AI技術を核とした事業創出プロジェクト ・既存技術の横展開ではなく、新規ドメインにおけるAI活用の設計そのものCompany Info
