Nomura is a global financial services group with an integrated global network spanning over 30 countries. Japan IT (Information Technology) is a diverse environment with employees of over 25 nationalities, who work on technical support, application development and implementation of system changes for Japan Retail Wealth Management Business and Global Wholesale (Global Markets and Investment Banking). Portfolio and Risk Management system that Nomura provides (named as NOMURA i-Port) is a system that provides functions such as risk analysis, simulation and position management for financial securities. NOMURA i-Port is maintained by the newly created section Japan Business Service (JBS) in the Corporate IT department. JBS is a team that conducts development and management for domestic departments using standardized in-house technology. Our goal is to build and maintain high-quality systems with a sense of speed in in-house development.
